Dick
Hilton entered the Police Service with the Metropolitan
Toronto Police Force in 1965. He became a member
of the Oakville Police Force in 1967 which then
amalgamated to the Halton Regional Police Service
in January 1974. During his police service Dick
worked in a variety of areas including patrol, administration
and staff operations. For many years he worked in
traffic enforcement and accident investigation.
After retiring from the force in 1994 he returned
for two years on contract as a firearms instructor.
Dick joined POINTTS in November 2002 to open the Muskoka – Parry Sound office in Bracebridge.
